"We stayed in a very spacious, modern, clean Executive Suite at a reasonable rate. The staff were amazing (special thanks to David)— polite, friendly, and helpful. The hotel was relatively new with some teething problems such as inconsistent hot water delivery and pool and spa were not yet operational. "Fantastic hotel with large, clean rooms, a good breakfast, and a beautifully illuminated swimming pool. The staff were very helpful, especially the receptionist/manager who seemed to be working there 24 hours a day. 😉 Cons: the gym was poorly equipped. We were also sent to La Plantation pepper factory, which felt like a tourist trap — daylight robbery in white gloves. A terrible place. I recommend choosing other plantations run by local farmers rather than French colonial-style businesses."
